How much scent do I add in melt and pour soap?

In melt and pour soap 1 ounce of fragrance oil per 2 pounds of soap is sufficient. You don't want to over scent as it could cause irritation on the skin.

How do I get rid of the bubbles in melt and pour soap?

Bubbles can form in the soap when poured into the mold. To get rid of the bubbles just spray rubbing alcohol on the top of the soap.

Why is my melt and pour soap a taffy consistancy?

If the melt and pour gets to a taffy like consistency when melted, the temperature was too high during the melting process. If this happens the soap is no longer good to use and needs to be thrown away.
